Dear Weecylced participants,

Last year at one of our foster parent meetings, it was announced that the weecycle organizers had invited foster parents to come to the weecycle event. At the close of the sale, we were allowed to choose from unsold, donated clothing and accessories for our foster children. I attended and was amazed when I went through the doors. I couldn't believe what generous, caring people we had in our community! Many children in foster care were blessed by the donation of clothing.

So often, foster parents are called in the middle of the night to take placement of children who come with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Sometimes the babies come to us in nothing but a soiled diaper. To have a variety of clothes on hand for those times when we have nothing to dress the children in is such a blessing. The children I cared for last year were thrilled with their "new" clothes and toys. The mother of the children was so grateful when I was able to send them home with new clothes, shoes, and coats. Due to her financial situation, she never would have been able to provide so many nice things for her children.

I would like to thank each of you who has chosen to donate your unsold items to charities after the sale. Your generous gift is such a help to those children in our community who are in foster care. They say that it takes a village to raise a child. Thank you for being part of my village!

I have been a regular shopper and consignor with Weecycled for years...since they first started out! It has amazed me how far they have come and how they are always keeping their customers and consignors in mind... making things easier and more convenient for everyone! I look forward to the sale every Spring and Fall b/c I know I will make some money selling my son's clothing and toys that he has outgrown...and especially because I know I will find some good bargains as well! Vicki and Penny make the sale fun and are great at what they do...just ask anyone who knows them! This sale is something that everyone with children/grandchildren should have marked on their calendars!!

Yes, the medela breastpump was $100 more than my total shopping bill at my first Weecycled Sale. Yes, I returned the pump the next day. I've gone back to consign, volunteer, or shop ever since that first experience at the North Stafford sale in August 2009. I was 7 months pregnant with my first baby and was quite clueless about what to buy. I went with a coworker who was astounded that she found jeans for her son and daughter at better than bargain prices. There is so much more I can say about Weecycled and the ladies that run it. I've only been able to volunteer once, but it was an experience I would like to repeat. Weecycled Wardrobe is a great option for single parents, for folks on a budget, for working parents, for stay at home parents, for grandparents, for aunts and uncles....for anyone with a Little One in their life. I look forward to the next sale.

Had a blast as a Super Volunteer this year and consigning for the first time was a breeze! Got to shop early and got a ton-o-bargains for my grandson that I am raising. Will definitely do it again in the Fall. Thanks Vicki and Penny! You are consignment geniuses!

I loved having the chance to actually come to this year's sale...just wished I had come on one of the first days. Still got some great deals for my soon to be 3 children - just didn't see what I really wanted because they had already sold in the first day! WOW! Will be keeping eyes and ears open for the fall sale!

The ONLY place I buy clothes for my kids. They even love going! Anytime I get a compliment on the girl's outfits I respond with "Weecycled!" The event is so well organized. You can tell the volunteers, Vicki, & Penny are all having a great time.
