Volunteer Oppurtunities:

Volunteer for a 3 hour shift and SHOP EARLY!   Its definitely worth
your time to have first choice at a consignment sale!  It's also fun,
easy work, and a chance to get out of the house and meet other moms
while working your shift.
Some shifts require loading/moving racks. Husbands, strong moms,
teenagers are all welcome.  

Super Volunteer openings only for Fredericksburg Sale.
Be a SUPER Volunteer and sign up for a six hour shift or road sign
duty which is explained below.  This entitles you to shop one hour
before regular volunteers on Sunday.  12 road sign shifts are listed on
the volunteer list (link at the bottom of this page) AND we have 13
openings for six-hour shifts.   Watch for our volunteer sign up in July
for the fall sale if you would like to participate as a Super Volunteer.  

Super Volunteers...IMPORTANT!!!!!
*******1.  Sign up on-line in the marked shifts
available for SUPER Volunteers.   
2.  Email that you are a SUPER Volunteer to
vickiandpenny@weecycledwardrobe.com and we will confirm
your Super volunteer status.
The words SUPER Volunteer MUST appear in
the box next to the shift you are signing up for
in order for you to be a SUPER Volunteer!     
  Car magnet people will need to complete their required
additional 2 hours in the store at an agreed upon time with us.  
Email us to determine this time.
 
Thanks for understanding this is the best and fairest way to
handle volunteering.

Descriptions of the jobs are:

Drop Off / Registration - Help check consignors in and sort
and check their items to ensure top quality.  Also make sure
they get their labels put on their tags or have tags on each item
and that all unused barcodes are turned in.

Pre-Sale Volunteers - Make sure consignors have a wonderful
shopping experience by helping them find items and helping
them collect items they wish to purchase and/or help us in the  
check out area by removing tags from items being purchased,
counting tags and then bagging purchases.  Easy.


Sale Day Workers / De-taggers -  Help make sure shoppers
find everything they need, return items to racks that are not
being bought, watch for theft, and help in check out area.


Sorters - We will no longer be sorting at the end of the sale.


Set Up / Break Down-You can volunteer or volunteer your
husbands for this!  Involves taking down racks.


Front Door Attendant - This is a new shift.  You will greet
everyone and as shoppers leave, check
bags/purses/strollers baskets and say "Thanks, come
again!"

This volunteer shift is ...Eight Yard-signs and qualifies you as a Super
Volunteer!!!

Some ideas for Yard Sign Placement include Subdivision Entrances,
Places of Business, High traffic areas (shopping centers), Daycares,
Pre-Schools, Elementary Schools (with permission), and any well
traveled areas.  This requires putting up the signs two weeks before
the sale on Friday, August 8th after 5:00 and taking them down on
Sunday, Aug 10th, after dark and then putting them up again on the
Friday, Aug 15th and then collecting them on the last day,
Wednesday, Aug 27th after 5:00 pm and bringing them to us on pick
up day, Thursday, Aug 28th.  This is a BIG job and it's very important
to put them up and take them down or they will get thrown away by
the maintenance crews.  These volunteers will also get to shop one
half hour early on 50% off morning!  Email us after signing up for this
shift and we'll assign you areas close to your home.

Car Magnets  

Option 1 - Car Magnet plus 2 Volunteer Hours = Volunteer Sale Pass

Option 2 - Car Magnet and 3 Yard Signs in Prominent Locations =
Volunteer Sale Pass
(Note:  these are NOT Super Volunteer positions)
Thank you for considering the opportunity to be one of our Taxi
Moms. We'll need you to have the Car Magnet on your car for several
weeks before the event.  Email us for location to pick up magnet.


Postcard Distribution - Email US

Flyer and Poster Distribution for Two hours for one volunteer sale
pass

We are looking for gals who will help spread the word about
Weecycled Wardobe in their community by distributing at least
200-300 flyers/posters to our target market- families with children.
Possible places
for flyer and poster distribution include preschools, daycares, dance
studios, gyms, doctors offices and more.
Must be able to pick up flyers from my front porch or Penny's - which
ever is closer for you and emailing us a list of where you took them.
We will no longer offer the mailbox flyer shift.  

Tables - Email us
If you have five tables (6-8 feet) you will receive one Volunteer Sale
pass

Advertising - Email Us
Help get us media coverage (newspapers, TV, radio, print ads, etc).  
Email us if you can help with this.
